AKROWA (Republic of Togo, Africa) - folklore group created in 1996 by the professional artists. The group practises the Togolese and African traditional dance ballet and ballet theatre. Under guidance of the Togolese percussion you will find African magic, trance, possession witchcraft and legends in the performance. We'll gladly perform our specialities: "girl of the fetish", "dance of the fishermen", "initiation ceremony of virginity". AKROWA counts more than 45 artists – betters, acrobats and juggles of the eaters and fire spitters, the waders (one foot and two feet) and the marionettes.
