The folk ensemble of singing and dancing Siemianowice is a group presenting traditional folk dances, as well as Polish national dances. The ensemble also demonstrates the beauty of native customs and folklore through musical compositions performed by a professional band. The group has a one hundred-year tradition as it is the continuation of the singing company Kasyno created in 1910. The high artistic level of the group’s performances was confirmed when it gained the accreditation of CIOFF – an organization embracing the best folk groups.
The folk ensemble of singing and dancing Siemianowice is a winner of numerous prizes and awards; it has performed during festivals in Poland and abroad (in Turkey, Romania, France, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Hungary).
